Daniella's Steakhouse (fair Only)

We have been to Daniella's a couple times and have enjoyed it every time. We always rave about our experiences here.

2nd visit, and every aspect was just as great as expected

Staff are nice. Food was good, but not great. Steaks were overcooked but still edible and tasted good. One steak ordered medium-rare came out medium and another steak ordered medium-well came out well done. Wine list has some great wines at fair prices.

We wanted to take another couple out to help show them how much we appreciate them and what they do so we wanted an extra nice location. I kept reading reviews here for Daniella's Steakhouse and decided to try it. We had never been there before. Attached to the Best Western near the NYS Fairgrounds you might just drive by and miss it. When we went in it was a much smaller location than I envisioned. That said, I ended up thinking it was the perfect place. Small and intimate setting with a beautiful interior. I loved the rich dark wood and layout. We were quickly and warmly greeted when we entered and shown to our table. Our server Kim was right there and ready to help us with the menu. Appetizers chosen were French Onion Soup and Poutine. Entrees were Chicken Riggies, Chicken Milanese, scallops, and Poseidon's Adventure two 4oz filet with scallop and shrimp with a lobster sauce. Every single dish was perfect. Seasoned perfectly, piping hot and right on time and so plentiful I did not finish it all. We also decided to have coffee and dessert so we could sit and continue to enjoy our evening together. Kim listed them all but said her favorite was the almond butter cake with ice cream. I didn't think the meal could get better, but this dessert was perfect. Sweet but not too sweet, warm, and creamy. They definitely lived up to all the reviews I read here and look forward to going back again. Service was perfect, setting was wonderful, and the food was delicious. Then to top it off I receive a call from the owner Charlie Roman today to ask if we enjoyed our visit. He should be proud of his business and all his staff. This is five star dining at its best.
