La Shish Lebanese Restaurant - Sydney

Went there with a group of 10 work associates. We ordered a trio of dips initially and and the flavours were great. We then ordered mixed kebabs ie. chicken, kafta and beef. Very tasty and again great side sauces. Also the salads had a mixture of wonderful tastes All simple Lebanese food and very enjoyable for a group.

Another favourite place to dine when in the area, Lashish are consistently fresh and delicious. We generally have the mixed plate as it satisfies both our tastes as one is vegetarian and the other, a meat eater. From time time we will also have the fried cauliflower and dipping sauce as well, extra tasty. The meats are always flavoursome and tender, great falafel and one of the best homus, baba ganou and tabhouli you will find anywhere..add the fresh bread to wrap it all up in and you have a delectable meal. Plentiful and freshly cooked, with great flavours... Lashish has it all. Combine that with the hum of busy tables, friendly staff,ambient surrounds and also very importantly, great coffee to finish with. Haven't been disappointed in all the years we have popped in to eat.

La Shish is definitely one of my favourite restaurants to go to in Sydney. I have dragged my family and friends down from Newcastle to show them how great it is and they love it too!! There are so many options, vegetarian and meat, it is affordable, tasty and always beautifully presented. We often just get all the side dishes and make our own wraps of sorts and that works great for us! The staff are fabulous, the design and ambience of the place is fun and upbeat. If your looking for some quality Lebanese food, look no further!

The reason I am giving 3 stars instead of 5 is because of the staff that work here. They should attend courses on hospitality and learn how to greet and serve customers. Now to the food. The best I have eaten in Sydney. The taste of the kebab particularly the lamb and kefta was amazing. I didn’t quite like the chicken. The dips were very good and well presented. I highly recommend the Mansaf

Absolutely loved the place, you have to experience this. The food is delicious, good menu selection and reasonably priced. Very good table service, staff are friendly and courtesy. You wil love this place.
