Very good Malaysian comfort food at reasonable prices. Eatery is in a nice location, attracting a lot of office workers and students at lunch-time. Quick service. A little over-efficient, perhaps, as the zealous young workers started their floor cleaning before we have finished our meals! View all feedback.

If you want fast, freshly cooked Malaysian food then seek out this hidden underground restaurant. It's first come first serve with seating options but turnover seems to be fast. Reminds me of being overseas in Asia with the hustle and bustle of clearing tables around...you whilst you eat your food. Laksa was good, not too spicey but could have done with some more veggies/tofu. Satay sticks looked saucy too. View all feedback.
After hearing alot about this Malaysian restaurant and finally we can try it out. We ordered the Hainanese Chicken Rice Nasi Lemak: Beef Rendang. Surprisingly, the meal was great with good portions and price. The Chicken was tender and not dry which is good plus the sauce is so yummy. The Nasi Lemak was good and the flavour is perfect. Good place to eat authentic Malaysian in Town Hall and I highly recommend.
The restaurant offers delicious meals with convenient and quick service similar to fast food chains. I will definitely return to try out other dishes.
The chicken Laksa at this restaurant in the city is really delicious! Stick with ordering Laksa for a great meal.
Love Poh and her food. Try the Wonton Laksa. Top food. UPDATE. Sadly iPoh hasn't kept up the quality and flavour. Today, I couldn't eat the so called curry chicken, plain chicken (funny greyish colour) NO SAUCE, sent it back replaced with a tasteless beef laksa. This is the 3rd time I got laksa that was tasteless. I suggest the owner taste what is coming out of the kitchen. Back to Hunter St for me.
I absolutely adore Ipoh restaurant. The food is consistently delicious! However, it does get very busy during lunch hours, so I recommend either arriving before 12 to beat the crowd or just ordering takeaway. Additionally, the restaurant is also available on Hey You and Liven for convenience.
