I had a great dining experience at this restaurant, which offers excellent food at reasonable prices. My favorite dishes are the tandoori chicken, chickpeas, and the eggplant dal. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Dal Bukhara Authentic Indian Cuisine:
The slow service was the most disappointing aspect of the evening. The young waitress was fantastic and did a wonderful job, but she was on her own and, although she managed everything throughout the night, she was clearly overwhelmed. The food was good, though I found the portions to be a bit small. View all feedback.
Delicious food, friendly staff and reasonably priced. Would recommend and re-visit in future
The Indian food here is delicious and offered at an excellent price. The portion sizes are quite generous, and the atmosphere is tidy and inviting. There's a wide variety of options to choose from on the menu.
After arriving at the restaurant, the staff guided us to our table and provided us with the menu. Just five minutes later, a man started yelling at the staff, claiming that the restaurant was closed and questioning why customers were still being allowed inside. He appeared to be a manager, as he approached our table, removed our plates, and asked us to leave. This was incredibly rude. I will never return to this establishment, and I cannot recommend it to anyone. The service was terrible, and the attitude was unprofessional. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.
31 July 2019 In response to Dal Bukhara's reply: It's odd that I wasn't notified by Google about your response to my review, or perhaps I just missed it. I only stumbled upon it while searching for Indian restaurants, and your establishment came up again. Well, I must say your reply is completely inaccurate. I firmly believe that your management and staff are indeed very rude and have a poor attitude. When I entered your restaurant, your staff guided us to a table, and a waitress brought us the menu. After about five minutes, someone from the back (who seemed to be the manager) started speaking loudly, saying the restaurant was closed and reprimanding the staff for allowing customers in. The manager then came to our table, removed our plates, and looked at us as if we were somehow at fault for being there. I'm not sure what your experience is as a restaurant owner or how often you dine at other establishments, but typically, customers don't just walk in—they wait at the entrance to be seated by the staff, which is exactly what we did. Additionally, I find it interesting that you mentioned "Welcome to Australia." It seems you’re trying to assert how knowledgeable you are about the country and imply that I am new here. While I don't know your background, I can surmise that you might not be Australian by heritage. You appear quite pleased and proud to be here before others and seem eager to show that you know more than the rest of us. Good for you! :D Your response doesn’t alter my perspective; I still believe your management skills are lacking, and you have not trained your staff properly in customer service. In fact, it's clear that you don't understand how to behave as a manager. I intend to share my experience across other social media platforms, and I sincerely hope your management style and attitude improve in the future. Bad experience!
