So happy with this new find in Swords. Was never Sanuk's biggest fan to be honest so to have an alternative is fantastic, especially one as good as this one!! First of all, the decor is quite cool, giving off a Neon vibe with an open kitchen and long tables for groups. I went for the wok dish of lemon grass and ginger marinated chicken with chili and Asian greens. Twas awesome!! So punchy and off the charts with flav... View all feedback.
What Sharon L doesn't like about Pok Pok:
I ordered the beef salad the first time and it was delicious. Went for the same thing again and it was awful, completely different ingredients, not very fresh and full of fish sauce. Also I was told twenty minutes for collection and then had to wait another 20 minutes once i got there. Chicken wings and a beef salad takes 40 minutes? Oh and there were 3 wings in the starter. Not going to return again. View all feedback.

Have eaten here twice, the first time I had the chicken wings and house salad and they were both so tasty. The salad was especially good, bursting with fresh and exotic ingredients...papaya, mango and plenty of fresh lemongrass and coriander it was one of the best Asian salads I've had. For less than ten euro, it was a serious winner price wise too. On my second visit however, things took a nose dive for the worst. I decided to go for one of the curries...and sad to say it was one of the worst Asian curries I've ever had. Thai curries should marry the four tastes of sweet, salty, sour and spicy together in perfect harmony, but this curry just tasted unpleasant. It was far too sour and lacked seasoning badly. If I was basing my review on this dish alone it would be a one or two star, but the quality of the food the first time around means that I have to give Pok Pok a three (it would be a strong four if based on my first visit) I would definitely eat here again, but would just avoid the curry dishes the stir fries, salads and appetisers are far more appealing by comparison. It's great to see restaurants like this opening in Swords village which is dominated by pub grub and fast food outlets, so I hope it gets the business it deserves as it does offer really fresh and tasty food served in generous portions at a good price.
One of the worst takes aways I have ever bought. It arrived late ad the bag split all over the floorwhen it arrived. The whle meal looked like a dogs dinner, on complaint and asking for my money back I was offered another meal. Just the same (albeit not on the floor).NEVER AGAIN. Money wasted and all ended up in the bin I'll stick with the ever excellent Food Guru, great staff, great food and great customer service.

The freshness of the whole dish with the side of noodles was incredible. I generously tasted my partners house sale som tam with chicken and her hot chicken wings and both were equally as good. I unfortunately didn't have my camera to take photos but will remedy that soon as I will certainly be back in the near future!!
