Crazy I have never checked this place because I have been here many times. I like this place obviously. A great bar with a large menu. They have burgers, salads, sandwiches and dinners. A great bar, but also tables and outside seats. A ton of television and a large parking lot. Great place to get a beer and watch the game, but you can also bring the family here. You have to try it. What User doesn't like about The Village Pub:
Super mediocre place for a super expensive price. Got takeout, 3 appetizers and paid $40 after tip. Still had to go home and make more food, portions are ridiculously small. Paid $9 for 5 frozen jalapeño poppers and $8 for 5 pieces of cauliflower, that markup is insane. Everything is smaller then my finger. Had to go home and make more sauce for the wings since they were so dry. Food tastes okay but not worth the pri... View all feedback.
Another update: so brilliant. The Guinness meat sheet is better than I thought it could be. Lively on Tuesday nights. I love the service. Update: hit my rating for up to 4 stars after another visit. Had some delicious crabcake slider, the salmon bbq, and cheesecake for dessert. All well prepared. The service was very good again, and I enjoyed a little live music on Thursday night. Based on only one culinary experience, I gave 'd The Village Pub an OK primarily based on food preparation. The service was solid, lively atmosphere, beverage selection more than sufficient. The menu has some great standards and enticing creative options, and I would bet if the kitchen 's a team works, then it is worth it. I had the chicken pot cake and the crust was fantastic from this world. Ingredients / recipe for filling was exactly what I like, but the vegetables were not cooked enough. Correction that, plus some actual taste, would probably get a four or five stars from me. I'll be back and expect a much better meal experience.
Great food, reasonable prices, and always interesting drink/food specials (like this Irish Potato martini for March! . A great place to get together with friends, watch a sporting event, or get bar food that 's just a step above other chain restaurants. Recommended.
I had a nice experience at this location. I have not been to any of them prior to this visit. I enjoyed some Pinot Grigio and a traditional flatbread. My friend had beer and tacos. The atmosphere is calm, laid back and the staff was so friendly. The bathroom was super clean as well as our table the cutlery, glasses and plates. The quality of the food and drink that I had are of good value for the price. I will be back!.
Their prices have absolutely skyrocketed over the past couple of months and portions have gotten smaller. They don't even include fries with their sandwiches anymore. You have to pay extra for that. Service was great however. We like the atmosphere, but can get more for our dollar elsewhere.
Service was bad, food was average for bar food. We were seated 15 minutes before someone came over, however the server walked all around us asking other tables if they needed anything. I was missing part of my order and we were never asked if we needed refills on drinks. If she had come over to the table after our food arrived to check on things, i would have addressed the missing items then and resolved it. After we finished eating, i had to flag the server down for a refill but by then we were frustrated and just looking to go. Coming in to eat there was more a chore than a pleasurable evening. The $60+ bill was disappointing for the food we ordered and service.
