We did it well on our way to vatnajökull to stop in this small left parking lot the views from the hill of the lagoon and the glacier tongue are of printing, and on the top there is a restaurant in an elongated wooden building, with a delicious soup of mushrooms and it is that in Icelandia there are not many places to eat, nor to go to the bathroom, and this beautiful place came of pearls. Very nice people. constant was a nice host. he creates us to book a group of 15 people in no time, and put us in the water at the same speed. aron and susanna, the leaders, were very clear and expressive. they explained to us all about the sea, the glacier and the iceberg. also tho the sea is smaller than the other, they will have a very nice experience because they take it very close to the glaciers.
That is a great tour, highly recommended! I liked this because they were in a smaller animal cycle boot vs the dee boot style of the other lagune. there is not so much ice in this lagoon, but they come very close to the glacier that feeds directly into the lagoon, and it is quite spectacular. we did this and the other tour in jokulsarlon, I really liked both and not sure what I would do if I could only do one. the children 6 can go to them. they also get a huge warm coat that is beautiful!
One of the best experiences in my life. the restaurant was very many interesting things to choose, and the team was so helpful. best guide I had in a boat tour, thanks norbert!
Very impressive. I didn't expect much and found the price pretty high. but it turned out to be an unforgettable experience. we showed up in the late afternoon five people and they took us on an extra trip.
Really great ride. You get really close to the icebergs and the glacier. You get a jacket and rain pants but still dress warm.
