Excellent returned local pub with gold grub, small but good choice of beers and wines, and some really interesting spirits, e.g. Islay Botanist gin. Had really nice special fish curry, full of chunky fish bits, good steak and nice, moist chicken. View all feedback.
What Levi Pagac doesn't like about The Carrington:
It's a pub, it has a good steak special, an Australian only wine list dominated by south Australia, it sells a bowl of salted nuts for $7 and $11 for its cheapest wine by the glass so is unsurprisngly overpriced. Its disappointing that the menu isn't more dynamic and exciting, and that the wine list isn't more extensive and broader. View all feedback.

Love this place for its dog friendly policy. Doggos get their own menu for food. While you enjoy your high quality restaurant food your fury pal enjoy its meal also right beside you in an environment with other dogs. Its not just a pub for dog owners. Locals come here to enjoy drinks food also. Hidden gem in sydney. Love love love their salmon dish! Just wow!
The Carrington is a super dog friendly restaurant with many puppers on a Thursday night. The food is fresh, and managed to snag a Thursday night special $14 steak. Was definitely much better than I expected. The calamari was also very nice, steamy hot with a thin coating. There is also a menu for dogs, beef tartare was very popular.
Had an amazing time! First time here and they allow dogs inside! Great food and service! Can’t go wrong. They also have a doggie menu!
