The best sushi restaurant around! I absolutely love it. The staff is always friendly. I come here for the amazing food - the sushi is always fresh and delicious, and the fruit at the end of the meal is very sweet. The miso soup is also really good. You can always rely on them to provide a welcoming atmosphere. View all feedback.

Veggie sunomono came with fruit which was a bit odd. Agedashi tofu was very crispy. Chicken katsu was crispy, had good flavour, and the portions was huge. Service was attentive.
Next to Noma, this is my second favourite sushi restaurant. The service is consistently friendly, good food portions, good prices, and fresh food.I found their California roles to have too much mayonnaise, but other than that this place is decent. Also, we got some free extras which is always nice.
Village Sushi is a small little sushi joint located in the Hillcrest Village Shopping Centre in Cloverdale. The interior looks like your typical sushi place with mahogany-coloured tables and dark faux leather chairs. There are sectioned-off rooms along one wall while the rest of the interior is filled with regular tables.
Village Sushi is a fantastic spot to enjoy top-quality sushi. I tried the miso soup, crunch roll, tempura appetizer, and unagi roll, and I must say that the food is consistently fresh and delicious. I always prioritize quality over quantity when it comes to sushi, and Village Sushi never disappoints. The service is outstanding, whether you opt for take-out or dine-in. I appreciate that they maintain the same portion sizes and high quality of food for take-out orders. I had a great experience with the miso soup, despite a negative review I had read. When dining in, they even went the extra mile to bring out a cute fruit dish, which added a nice touch to the overall dining experience. Village Sushi is definitely a top-notch restaurant in my book.
