I used to have breakfast there every weekend, but over the last few months I have not gone much. In the first weekend off September I was visiting with a group of 4. I have to say I was a bit disappointed not only with food but the service as well. New staff, slow and the food did take forever. It was a full house. Having said that they had a lot of staff on. What User doesn't like about Dutch Pannekoek House:
I had high expectations for this food chain. I am used to the one in Edmonton where the pancakes are fresh the menu is bigger and it is always packed unlike this one. The pancakes here tasted microwaved, and the fruit tasted frozen. The service was good though View all feedback.
Definitely a go-to restaurant for me and my partner on special occasions!Prices are reasonable and the staff from our visit are accomodating and relatable. Would be going much more often if there was some app or loyalty program!
Genuine dick pannekoek just like oma made eating was great and service here in comparison to cloverdale was great
I love eating here. our server was really friendly and offers exceptional service.
I'm literally in the store right now and it's been 10 minutes and I'm still waiting for the server to even acknowledge me and my guests. She's even glanced my way and has had time to talk to some customers. It's ok if it's busy but can you say hi or at least acknowledge that we are currently waiting.Edit: Just finished eating. The food is so good I am adding two stars.
I tried this restaurant for the first time and was very impressed. The pancakes were delicious and the service was excellent. I will definitely be returning in the future.
