What Nathan Schechter doesn't like about Uni Sushi Steak:
Uni. Definitely not a five-star experience. I would recommend avoiding this restaurant. The food I ordered had rotten vegetables in it, which I pointed out to the server. They took the dish away but still charged me for it. I suggest saving your money and dining elsewhere. The fact that the windows are blacked out is a bit unsettling - you won't know what you're getting yourself into until you're already inside. View all feedback.

Loves this place for sushi and shishimi. a bit on the expensive side, but it is worth it. last year:. from here at least one dozen times ordered.
5 stars! would I have got 6 stars if I could have made them crawl around! Seriously but, really happy with our first meal here. our waiter was great, our food was very good, the wasabi was kicky as it should be and the prices were decent too. we had 2 rolls and the calamari, first when we got the calamari, we thought these look like wobbles not the tiny rings, but we were pleasantly surprised. it tasted of fresh delicate tinted fish as we came out in a restaurant in socal, the brot was light and crispy, fresh oil was used and the sauce that comes with it just as well. I don't think we can eat the tiny frozen rings again. recommend uni sushi and we will come back.
Great Japanese farewell made fast. Not too hot tempura, and excellent sushi. The edamame is a lot during a long happy hour.
The yellow tale roll with scallions was fresh and well balanced. The beef bulgogi with rice was very good. The edamame needed some salt. The gyoza could have been a bit crispier. Overall good food and someplace that hit the spot for a late night dinner.
