This was one of the greatest experiences I have ever had eating sushi. It was the PERFECT date for my partner and I. Happy hour is 4-7 EVERYDAY! They offer great drink options including sake and the sushi is sooo delicious the Crunch Sushi Roll was my absolute favorite. I give this place 10/5 stars! I will definitely be back soon. Can't recommend this place enough, especially to other sushi lovers. I always struggle to find fresh fish I notice even the slightest aftertaste it gets when it's not. Everything here is absolutely amazing, and the staff is amazing, too. Nothing but positive experiences and great food! I do spend a bit more when I come here, but only because I order more than I honestly need, it's just that good. View all feedback.

Went out for my daughter 13th birthday, she LOVES sushi. Amazing food, really fresh, if you like spice ask for the fresh wasbi. Staff was very nice, explaining things to my husband who is new to sushi. Gave a chocolate hazelnut cake that according to my daughter was delicious for her birthday. They were out of several drinks and desserts but wasn't a big deal. Will return again!
Two of our guests come from Japan, one still lives there, couldn't believe how good the food was. They raved about the freshness of each item ordered.I can see why this place is so popular!
Ugly Tuna ha ha ha! Not the best name for a sushi restaurant, but you 'll probably never forget the name, which is probably the point.That being said, the food was really good! We had the Alaska Roll, Las Vegas Roll, and Louisiana Roll. The Las Vegas had a Tempura ? theme that was my favorite, I think. The Louisiana had a spicy sauce that I 'm told was really good (I didn 't risk the heat).It 's not a huge place, and it was packed on a Saturday evening, but you should give it a try.Vegetarian options: Edamame, Cucumber salad, and Pescatarian options, of course.
Best sushi around. Sushi chefs are outstanding. Wait staff hit and miss. Some nights are better than others. Overall our favorite restaurant in Surprise.
