What User doesn't like about Surprise Pho Vietnamese:
I had a terrible experience with the customer service. Frieder Reis was quite rude. I ordered four meals, and when I asked for soy sauce, I was only given one packet for all four orders of fried rice. When I requested another packet, she said no, stating that it was too expensive to give more. View all feedback.
I ordered the Shrimp Pho, along with spring rolls and Thai iced tea. The Shrimp Pho was incredible, made with all-natural ingredients that tasted like they were freshly picked from a garden. It had a slight kick to it, but it wasn't overwhelming. The dish came with a side of bean sprouts, sliced jalapeños, and lime wedges. I've heard Vietnamese cuisine can be a bit spicy, so I added a slice of jalapeño, some sprouts, and a squeeze of lime. Wow! It was absolutely delicious! If I had a grandmother from the East, I'm sure this is what she'd serve me. The dish was both filling and light, allowing me to appreciate each ingredient on its own. It was perfectly balanced. The spring rolls were enormous! You could easily mistake them for mini burritos. They were translucent and refreshingly fresh! Soft yet satisfying, you could genuinely taste the simplicity that makes this cuisine so wonderful, especially when dipped in the peanut sauce. Wow! Discovering new flavors is always thrilling, and my taste buds were certainly enjoying the experience. If you’re a tea lover and looking for something new, I highly recommend trying the Thai tea. It has a unique flavor that is refreshing when served cold, making it perfect for the warm Phoenix weather. I've enjoyed this tea many times in the past at a Thai restaurant, and I loved it since my first sip. I'm definitely planning to return to Surprise Pho. Their menu looks fantastic, and I can't wait to explore more of their offerings. It's a bit different from Chinese food, but in a delightful way—the fresh, natural taste of each ingredient stands out beautifully on its own. When combined, they create an elegant and memorable experience. Every time I have such exquisite food, it inspires me to try new flavors. I suggest giving this restaurant a try, perhaps starting with something familiar. Take a look at the ingredients and envision the flavor combinations. I often do this when exploring new dishes, and then place my order. Of course, there's always the thrill of asking the waiter or waitress for their favorite recommendation. Overall, this is a lovely gem in Surprise, especially during the holidays. It's definitely unexpected but thoroughly enjoyable! You won't be disappointed!
The food is absolutely delicious! For my dining experience, I had dinner and found the price per person to be around $10–20. I would rate the food a solid 5, the service also a 5, and the atmosphere a 4. Highly recommend!
This is, without a doubt, our favorite restaurant. The service is excellent, and the food is fantastic. Food: 5/5, Service: 5/5, Atmosphere: 5/5.

It's refreshing to find an authentic Vietnamese restaurant without any pretenses in Surprise, AZ. I tried the short ribs, which were served on a platter with rice and salad, and they were delicious! The service was quick and very friendly.
