Malko Le Grand - Surfers Paradise

Great little eatery for those of us that have a sweet tooth, friendly staff fast service very tasty deserts.

This was one of the finest dining experiences I have had in a long time. I fell in love with this store the moment I saw it and I was not disappointed. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and took care of me and my children. The food was fresh and delicious. The prices were great and I revisited the store everyday for the rest of my holiday to bring treats up for my sons. I was disappointed to hear that they moved on my next visit to the gold coast. However, If anyone hears anything please let me know. I still cant get over just how amazing their spanakopita and lasagne were!

I used to be a regular customer here, found the owner became extremely rude as time went on, I would come in during my evening shifts to grab dinner take-away as I worked around the block, and he would offer me a plate and cutlery, I always said no a paper bag is okay I won't be finished by the time you close, he always said no no thats okay bring it back tomorrow (when I would order another), and I would return it washed and clean. Did this a few times and then one day he decided this wasn't good enough and had a go at me! Could not believe it, he had been the one demanding I take it and I had always been very careful and washed it properly - nothing was ever broken or missing, and he ripped into me!... I stopped going back after this and he would give me dirty looks whenever I saw him. I also noticed as time went on the food was not fresh and often left out for ages before it was brought or changed. Also heard from a customer of mine one day that the macaroons were so hard they could barely eat them. I've heard the coffee is okay... not ever going back after my experiences though!

I enjoyed dining at this restaurant. The staff was very polite and provided helpful recommendations in choosing dishes.

This is a fantastic little dessert spot for those with a sweet tooth. The staff is friendly, the service is quick, and the treats are delicious.
