This was a small restaurant in Surfside beach that had great food and great service . Our waitor Reed was awesome and helped with my food allergies. Dietary restrictions: I can not have pepper and they remade my salmon!! They were great. The food was so great! View all feedback.
What Jennifer Buck doesn't like about High Waters And Grill:
Took almost an hour for apps. Crab dip was awful, lukewarm, with chunks of cream cheese throughout and chips were stale. You only get 3 mozzarella sticks, which were a soggy mess. The waitress did well at refilling drinks, but brought salads out with dinner. Dinner was out after almost an hour and a half. The place was not busy and the food was again lukewarm. Date night FTW! We shared the mozzarella sticks and the wings and truly enjoyed the service and atmosphere!
Used to love this place but menu changed and is very limited and expensive. We couldn't be seated due to a large table (12 people) and kitchen being overwhelmed. There were only 2 other tables occupied. Waited over 30 min and nobody told us we could be seated. When we checked, they said they were ready for us. Don't waste your time.
Our server Katie was truly amazing! Quick, prompt, attentive to our requests. The appetizer was delicious, our meal (fish and chips) was absolutely fantastic! Definitely worth the drive and will return!
The staff was hospitable and friendly! The best crab legs with the Seafood Tower, and the sirloin was cooked to order. We’ll be back!!
What a disappointment. Took an hour and half to get our food plus it was cold. I’m glad it was the last night of our vacation. Enjoyed our time in surf city other than that experience.
