Chang Bed And Hostel Suratthani

I've been on my way for a year and that was by far my best night sleep. The room is nice and cool and completely black when all the lights are out. The beds are very comfortable and for the already reasonable price you will receive a towel. Very friendly staff and a kitchenette can be used to prepare your own food. There are also free tea and coffee and a small selection of bread for breakfast. The showers are also massive and there is an attic chillout area. I can't recommend this place enough. Thanks for restoring my faith in cheap hostels!

I am not surprised that this hostel is rated 5 stars. This was a hostel experience I don't often have. Kin, the owner, took me from the bus station and at night took me, his wife and children and 2 others from the hostel to his favorite restaurant where I had one of my best meals in Thailand! Quality guy. The shower was great, the beds are comfortable, and the roof is super chill. Thank you. Kin

Great owners, very friendly, welcoming. Spent the day with Kin (owner) traveling around and doing some local activities (local food, market and tube River floating) Very friendly! Accommodations were clean and simple. Well worth the ultra low price. Thanks for a great experience Kin!!!

The place is really worth to stay in Suratthani, their service is great, the hostel is very clean with a cosy rooftop bar and cafés on the same road. It’s easy to get in and out from the hostel when going to the islands. I gladly spent two nights here before going to Koh Samui from Phuket

The staff kindly picked us up. Bed is comfortable Edit: fixed by the owner the following week The doors are not creaky anymore. Moisture builds on the walls looks better Toilets and sinks are unblocked. – Aircond in the room runs at freaking 16 degrees. The blanket is square and too short so you end up feeling cold... I had to use it in diagonal to be able to cover feet and shoulders. Other people in the dorm were sleeping in a ball shape to feel warm... – Only one shower out of 3 still runs hot water. The other 2 are broken. Not the end of the world though but might be fixed later. The double room runs Aircond but you cannot close the window as it's a blind style. Here you can enjoy the enormous amount of energy that is wasted. For many, I'll be the annoying guy who complain about everything. To me, facilities should be clean and work properly. The hostel is next to the road, so a bit noisy but I accept that. If a room or a bed is small, I would accept that as well. Edit: I'm glad my review helped the owner to improve his place. That's the first time I see an owner reacting that fast to a comment. They even sent me pictures (attached) of the stuff they fixed. I totally respect that. I added 2 stars.
