I had expected Golden Inn to be good and satisfy my desire for a filling in a city essentially without vegetarian options. I had not expected that I was really impressed by the quality of the food. My partner and I have three entrees: Kung Pao tofu, vegetable lo my and sesame tofu (we like remnants) and everyone was thrilled! I was impressed both in quality and in quantity, and that the tofu was prepared in our dishe... View all feedback.

Couple of us gorged ourselves on apps and dinners big enough to feed four. Leftovers galore! Food is good not great, sometimes barely worth the wait. Due to the lack of options I would eat here again. View all feedback.
My boyfriend and I absolutely adore Golden Inn. We have tried many of the other Asian restaurants in the Duluth-Superior area, but Golden Inn is without a doubt our favorite. The combination special costs $10.75, but the portions are so generous that I can usually get 3 meals out of it! It is definitely worth the price. The food is delicious. I have had both good and bad experiences. There have been a couple of occasions where I had to wait 45-50 minutes for my food, but most of the time, we have received our food very quickly. Their takeout service is also incredibly fast! I highly recommend this place to anyone in or around the Twin Ports area.
This place hands down has some of the best Cantonese-style Chinese food I've ever tasted. The Hot and Sour soup was especially unique, with great flavor and high-quality ingredients. The Singapore Street Noodles were excellent and the Honey Chicken was tender and delicious. The Fried Rice was made in a rare style using white rice perfectly. What really stood out was the excellent service - we arrived at 9:15pm and were served without any complaints. One of the ladies even sang along quietly to American pop music, adding a fun touch to our dining experience.
We have been frequenting this restaurant since I was a child and have always been impressed with the delicious food and generous portions. However, during our most recent visit, we tried to order the SPICY General Tso's chicken. Unfortunately, both my husband and I received mild versions. Even my mom, who has a low tolerance for spice, remarked that it lacked any kick. The flavor was still enjoyable, but we were really craving some heat on a cold day.
Ordered the general Tso. My order time was one hour and it showed up early super awesome nope soggy chicken like it was sitting in the to go box for a hot min before I get it chicken is super hot temperature wise but soggy not happy and not ordering for awhile.
Great tasting food, here always had a great experience with excellent staff.
