Popped in for a beer and a late evening meal. No English menus , but the waiters were very accommodating. He went through the whole menu with us explaining the dishes. Menu is very well thought out. Mainly French infusion. The rotisserie looked excellent. Myself, I'm a sucker for cheese burgers , so that's what I rested on. I asked for the burger rare, and it was perfectly cooked. Nice aged cheddar with a little spin... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about City Café:
I went there and got a sandwich and a coffee. The coffee was alright in price and taste, but the sandwich was not good at all. It tasted rather cheap and was made without love, also the bread was very dry. Probably one of the worst I ever had and it costed way too much. The service was also not friendly cannot recommend. A classic place who now is Sundsvalls oldest still open cafe. The interior is 50s style and you will find a bunch of locals showing up for breakfast every morning. Love the fact that they open 6:00 already in the mornings. During summertime they have a few tables outside as well where you can enjoy the sunshine and watch the street life going on. Well known for their big tasty sandwiches, especially the ones with their home made mustard.

Nice aged cheddar with a little spinach and a nice BBQ sauce. The fries were also great accompanied with a chipotle mayo dipping sauce. Also in gathering was a nice dish of slaw. almost as good as the colonels) Highly recommended . Again, the service was super friendly . Warm regards, Colbee

Best sandwiches in Sundsvall. And a homemade mustard too to die for.
