Sugar River Pizza Company Sun Prairie

First time visit and had lunch at Sugar River with a work colleague. Arrived around 11:30 and the place was completely dead with only one other couple in the restaurant. The dining room is one big open area and there was no music playing and the silence was very awkward and you could easily hear other conversations. Servers were friendly and attentive but we couldn't get over how quiet, sparse, and uninviting the place was. Really needs a redesign of the interior space to make this place more inviting and less like a cafeteria. Pizza was good and beer list is extensive although they show the drink list on TV's around the room which makes it difficult to read. Hopefully this place is more lively in the evenings and on weekends. Probably won't be going back anytime soon to find out.

We have eaten several times on the sugar river. we even had the surprise of my man's 80th birthday. we have never been disappointed. eating was always good and the service excellent.

The pizza is always very good. was disappointed by a service we have. the waitress always took our order, and the bartender was too busy to talk, instead of making drinks when they only sat 4 people at the bar.

Absolutely phenomenal! the service was fast, eating tasted fantastic, and the portions were enormous! will be 100% back to this place!

Good food, fast, great service. We ate around 130pm on a Saturday and it wasn't too busy but still quick to sit quick to get food and all of our food was delicious. We will be back
