What G Oakden doesn't like about Kobe Japanese Steak House:
Typical hibachi show nothing special. Hit or miss on the chef, have had guys who were dynamic others whom you could tell would rather not have been there. Servers mostly do a decent job. The food, particularly the sushi, is usually very good wellcooked. A bit pricey, but you do get a lot of food. View all feedback.

When I walked in and I said there was just me, they refused my service saying I needed to in a party to sit at the hibachi which I think is ridiculous. Very unprofessional and I wouldn’t have my worst enemy eat at this restaurant.
It 's sad to say I did not enjoy my dinner at all. The waiter brought me broth soup ... it tasted like dirt. I asked for a miso soup and it was luke warm and did not taste of miso at all. I ordered a calamari appetizer... it was meh.. the tempura was oily and soggy. The calamari was stringy and tough. I ordered octopus sushi.. the guy forgot it. The recommended roll I had tasted primarily of the processed sweet chili sauce and cream cheese. I guess this is not the place to go for sushi in Sumter...
To expensive for the amount of food you get. Reminds me of why I quit going there.
