Barabar Caves was made under the patronage of King Ashoka for the Ajivika Sect followers during 3rd cent AD. It was very good experience to cherish, one must come with their children so that they can get to know about our history well. Just an amazing experience on route. This has been made for meditation purpose. A must visit to feel the essence of how emperor Ashoka moved towards practicing Moksha.
Good place. Very Good historical cave. Importent for history lover. Visit again and again.

These caves denotes to ashoka samrat, coolest place to have medications, barabar temple at the top, view scenario was immense beautiful, peaceful. Coming here feels like one can got knowledge like gautam buddha and mahavir jain. Almost bihar is bihar.
Amazing place to go for a tour or a picnic. Just be careful with the steep stairs while climbing or coming down as it can cause accidents.
