Mike's Restaurant & Crabhouse

Every time I eat here, it was excellent and this visit was no exception. They simply perform all the basics extremely well! My crabcake sandwich was a great example: solid pack of fresh crab with many big pieces, seasoned well and glittered. Perfect. Beautiful slice of ripe tomatoes, fresh salad on a roasted bungalow. Side of fresh frits and cocktails and tartaric acid sauce. Easy, but right. Add the well-trained and friendly staff, a prime location on the water and a long history of delivering great food and service and you have a winner! No disappointment here!

Chesapeake Crab Perfection! All my expectations for a crab day on the water met. We sat pretty fast, the service was warm and friendly. It's hard to hit the wide view of the water! So relaxed and peaceful and delicious! It was such a cool experience. Was my first time crawling crab and it was funny! The crab dive was creamy and tasty, mussel strips were really juicy. Butter and tartaric acid sauce was great. Definitely recommend saving your crab dip to immerse your fresh crab! Pro Tip: Swallow your hands in lemon to avoid crab odor on the skin.

Great location. This place is popular. We just came a few minutes after the opening on Sunday noon, and it's almost full. Waiting time was 10 minutes, not bad at all. We took a short walk on the docks. The food is fresh. The salad is as fresh as possible. Blue crabs are seasoned and just properly damped. Service is friendly. The outdoor seats have a good view of the water.

Mike's has great tasting fresh seafood, well seasoned and good flavored crabs! The appetizer basket dip was delicious, the drinks (Rum Punsch) were exactly right, I had the seafood imperial and it had great taste and even again good of the rest. Peeling and food steamed spice shrimp was fresh with good portions and the service was great! Great ambience on the water and friendly staff. I would definitely visit again and would recommend!

Mike's Crab House is a must if you are in Annapolis! Before I rave about the food and the location, please note that they do not take reservations, seating is on a first come, first serve basis. However, you will not be bored while waiting on your table because of the views, the outdoor bar for drinks and lovely breeze. The views are beautiful and there is seating around the docks to take it all in. This was my 3 or 4th visit at Mike's and it never disappoints. The Rum Punch is what I sip on every time I visit. When it comes to the food, I strongly recommend: the mussels, COCONUT SHRIMP, crab dip (ask for extra baguette, you'll need it), BBQ wings and the seafood imperial. In my opinion, a spread of appetizers is perfect with crabs! Trust me, you'll be highly satisfied. One thing you are guaranteed here is eating while enjoying beautiful water views.
