What any waitress doesn’t need is a party of 25 pumped with alcohol and food for 4 hours, however Nikki was brilliant all night. Drinks were topped up before we had finished, food out promptly and happy to go the extra mile with pictures and videos for my nans birthday we were celebrating. If every restaurant had a nikki, it would be a great place to eat! View all feedback.
What paceflchick doesn't like about The Starting Gate Open For Inside Dining:
Wonderful service. Opens early, cute inside. First time I went it was good, everyone happy. Loved the chicken fried steak. And the BLT with real bacon, my husband had the Mexican omelet, said it was good, I asked for crispy hashbrowns, they didnt come out crispy. Came back two more times. Asked both times, crisp hashbrowns. Nope, and nope. Canned mushrooms, in omelette, and tasted like preservative bagged bacon bits.... View all feedback.

Good food but very pricey for breakfast. If you are making it one of your main meals it is worth the $15.00 for breakfast.
Best breakfast ever also great people there that run the restaurant my wife and enjoyed the place and the biscuits where to died for.
This place was recommended to us by some locals for their Eggs Benedict. I don 't remember ever trying this dish before. We ordered the traditional dish, plus a variant made with fried green tomatoes. We loved them both! If you don 't like Eggs Benedict, they have many other options on the menu. The owner used to raise racing horses, hence the name 'Starting Gate. ' Only open on weekends Friday, Saturday, Sunday.

Everyone is not a tourist. Also Quite expensive, I wanted to love you. But a 50 dollar breakfast, for a couple, should be to ones liking, and fresh veggies. Waffle house knows how to make crispy hashbrowns.
