Russo's New York Pizzeria - Sugar Land

Food was delicious I ordered the Stromboli and garlic Parmesan wings. I was so happy when I seen they had Stromboli because I'm from the east coast and we eat those a lot there. Definitely will order again.

Still think was really good service and taste, customer service great too. My update is in the vegan dough, I went again and manager informed me that dough is NOT vegan (confirmed it with chef) . Was s little sad because it was great pizza but grateful they doubled check this time.

Took a chance and picked this pizza place for Mother's Day and I did not regret it. We got there around 5 on Sunday, and there was no wait, only take outs waiting, and eventually a few more parties arrived. Our server was great, he was attentive, on point with service and very friendly (I wish I'd gotten his name! . We ordered a pepperoni pizza (I know I'm basic , side Caesar salads, garlic knots and a bottle of wine and we were also brought a basket of garlic bread, and all hit the spot perfectly. The garlic bread and garlic knots tasted fresh, the olive oil, garlic and parsley were generously layered on the knots. They were so fluffy, and just..trust me, delicious. The Caesars and pizza were delicious as well, my son ate the pizza without pause, and I can see ourselves coming back. The wine, we got moscato, was just as satisfying. Definitely a little gem here, get out there if you can!

I love their minestrone soup. Truly. But each of the last three times i have come to this location, it has been a frustrating and incomplete experience. Each time I have either left empty handed or had to wait hours to get what I had ordered. Just stay away from this location. They are nice but after three tries on simple orders, come on! Today I ordered through DoorDash. I specified a time, placed the order and got two confirmations from DoorDash. I also got charged. When I arrived there was only one person on duty. The others, including the manager, were either delivering or offsite. The young man said they had no order for me. I showed him the confirmation and he said they have a lot of problems with DoorDash and GrubHub. To the point that no orders make it from those platforms to their store. YET THEY STILL USE THEM. The store is listed on both sites. So I was told I needed to fix the issue and call DoorDash. Ok I get that but knowing your link to these websites doesn 't work AND YOU CONTINUE TO USE THEM is maddening. So their failure to work out the issues with these websites is my problem. Talk about passing the buck. They should remove their location from those sites. am no longer going to try and support this neighborhood shop. Ill get the soup froma location three miles away instead.

This is the third time I have had a problem ordering pizza from this restaurant. The first time, it didn 't show and they claimed that when I ordered online, I chose pick up instead of delivery. Not true. Then the second time, they even said that there wasn 't an order at all and the after some very loud fighting with the manager, they found it on the top of the oven and claimed that I specified pick up. Not true. When it finally was delivered, it was burned completely black on the bottom. I have no idea why I kept giving them chances, but they are our neighborhood pizza place and I do like the pizza. Tonight we ordered via Grubhub because whenever we tried to call, it just rang and rang. I ordered at 5:45. At 7:30, it still hadn 't arrived. Grubhub tried to call and they couldn 't get through either. They canceled our order. My husband physically drove down to the restaurant. They were busy but had plenty of staff. He phoned them several times and the phone never rang. He told the cashier and they had TURNED OFF THE PHONE and they turned it back on in front of him and claimed they didn 't. We have also had problems with service eating in person. We will never eat here again.
