I often went to a sub place in the valley, but now I have a place downtown that's just as good. The subs are great, but I can't speak to anything else on the menu as I've not yet tried. Delivery had been reasonable and the quality excellent. Order here if you're hungry late at night. Love that they're open until 4. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Sub City:
I dropped in to grab a quick meal. the sub was on par with what you would expect from Subway or Mr. sub - nothing jumped out to recommend this place above the larger chains. The only drawback is the location. I was there on a Friday afternoon and the area was bustling with panhandlers, weirdo's and drunks. View all feedback.
Went here today for the first time and will not be back. They have a lot of problems, where to begin? The place looks like it hasn't been updated or even had basic maintenance in 20 years perhaps. The front door was so dirty you could barely see through it. The ceiling has missing tiles and the whole place just looks bad inside. The staff isn't much better, they seem to wear whatever they want and have no official uniforms. The girl at the cash was nice but was obviously new and didn't know too much. The older brunette in the back wasn't wearing a hat or hair net and of course I caught a nice brown hair in my slice of pizza. It was actually visible in two different spots when I took my bite, tasty! Other than the nasty hair, the pizza was average, thinner style crispy crust with not a lot of rise and a bit overcooked. I also picked up a big dripper, which was so greasy and soaked by the time I got it home (there is no seating available inside) that it was a mess. The service was slow as they forgot the 3rd order of ours and it was sitting there for at least 5 minutes while they took more orders. Why would anyone choose to come back? Maybe price? Sub was $7.34 and I think the pizza slice was like 2.50.
They offer delivery and the food is good. The pizza is good depending on who is making it as it is inconsistent. The big dripper sub is awesome....greasy but very tasty and the grease is more like a garlic butter. Prices are reasonable. Could use more cheese on pizza but again it depends on who makes it as I ordered 3 times for pizza and 2/3 were good and 1 was poorly and cheaply made with hardly any toppings or cheese.

Sub city has fantastic subs. However their pizza is the worst I've ever eaten in Sudbury, very low quality. The brownies are also great. This place also receives five stars because it is the latest thing open in Sudbury (3am and 4am)!
