What David J Evans doesn't like about Sainsbury's Caf:
Menu options somewhat limited especially for my tastes which are traditional English. Service can suffer at busy times. At a more recent visit it was not possible to get a roast meal or beef pie due to oven failure! I opted for fish and chips. Wow! The portion of fish was so small that to take fish of that size from 'sustainable sources ' is truly irresponsible! Another case of 'shrink-flation ' indeed!After two year... View all feedback.

Good food, good prices. When it's busy you may have to wait a while.
No longer do breakfast, so the choice is from pre-packed rolls/sandwiches to be heated.You'll find better food and better selection elsewhere...

Good afternoon Firstly thank you so much for all the care you are showing towards your customers during the Coronavirus lockdown. I wanted to alert you though to unadvisable behaviour from one of the staff this morning. I had pulled out a trolley before joining the queue, when a well intentioned member of staff at Sudbury advised me that I shouldn’t use it as it had come from the ‘not cleaned’ trolleys. There is no sign but this was fair enough. What wasn’t ok was that she came so close that she was speaking to me from approx a foot from my face. I acknowledged my mistake straightaway but said that she was was not observing the 2 metre rule. I have tried calling the Sudbury store and ‘make a complaint’ line. (there’s no other way of getting in touch) There appears to be no email address. I’m sure you’ll want to advise your staff to keep their distance from customers. I was pretty concerned and feel that even done with the best of intentions that having a close word right now is not a good plan. Once again thank you for your help to us all.
