The food is great, so is the service. And it stays open at noon. For a business meal after a visit it is more than great.

Enjoy this place every time. We met another couple and had drinks. I was hungry and had to order some flamen bends (excuse the spelling). Service is always fantastic and never disappointed. If you want a nice night under the shadow, that's your place.

This summer we spent three very hot days in Stuttgart and we were looking for a nice terrace for dinner. The receptionist at the pur hotel told us we should go to Wirtshaus Garbe and I was a little skeptical driving 25 minutes to get there....Boy was I wrong! It was worth the trip! I'd drive all the way from Geneva for another night there! The terrace is magnificent and is shaded by a number of huge chestnut trees! The layout is usually beer garden with bench and chairs and it has this great mood! First we get a round of ice-cold Augustiners served! Things look very good. When we arrived, we stared and saw how many people were on the terrace, we expected to serve in an hour! 7 minutes later we got our food and it was delicious! We had the obvious Schnitzel and the best we had during our trip to Switzerland, Germany and Austria! Cooked on perfection, generous, moist, large dough. The kids had this big pizza coming on a wooden board called Dinneten. We ordered green and mixed salads on the side that were divine!!! We also tried the cheese parrots that were delicious. And we had the classic dumps that were great. The staff is charming, efficiency is amazing, beautiful terrace! We came every night. Love this place! His heavens!

The food is freshly made with mainly local ingredients. Nice atmosphere and an authentic German experience. The food is excellent but is not fast; however, well worth the wait. Everything we ordered was excellent: the schnitzel stood out. Reservations are recommended.

This is a very popular beer garden and restaurant all year round. In the warmer months it is great to sit outside and have some great German beer along with some flatbread pizza. They also have a very nice German menu. Make reservations!
