Torrefazione Moka - STRESA

....se pensi che sia facile dire no ad un buon bicchiere di vino rosso. in torre e praticamente impossibile.

This place is always buzzing. Locals and tourists flock to this hidden away spot to have a drink and chat. The aperol spritz is first class but the their range of wine kept us very happy on our multiple trips. On our first visit we were taken totally by surprise when some cheese and meats were served to help us enjoy our drinks and this added to the joy of our experiences. Every time we visited we loved how happy everyone was and how this bar exemplified la dolce vita! I can’t recommend this place highly enough for a drink, a good coffee and just soaking up everything good in life.

Great place to have a drink and chill very lively with lots of customers and music, plus the drinks come with a plate of meat, tuna sandwiches etc if I lived here I would come here every night!

Third night on Stresa and getting weary if the tourist restaurants we decided to wander further from the main squares and came upon Bar Moka Stresa (same bar but perhaps name has changed). Friendly staff, usual prices 2.5 euros for small wine or beer and a really nice complimentary wooden platter of cheese, salami, bread, olives and fruit. What's not to like? A real Italian gem!
