One of the best burgers I've ever had. The patties are made in house and the topping are surreal. The buns hold up to the juicy burgers. A bit pricey for a burger, but a nice treat. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Downie Street Burger:
This used to be the best burger place in Ontario. It has lost its luster due to a slip in quality of the burger and bun from when it originally opened. For the price I would expect better. Still a good burger. But no longer great. View all feedback.
My friends were very thoughtful in choosing this final restaurant for our trip. I may have mentioned poutine once or twice before (I lost count), but they insisted on trying it.
I absolutely loved this restaurant. It's not often that I find myself on this street, but I'm so glad I decided to take a stroll. The burgers were juicy and delicious, and I really appreciated that they offer gluten free buns at no extra charge.
To keep it brief, we ordered two decent but not outstanding burgers, two pints of beer, and upgraded our fries to include poutine and sweet potato. Unfortunately, the fries were undercooked. Overall, we rate the experience an 80 out of 100.

We were catching the matinee of Tartuffe and wanted a good meal before the show. We read the reviews of the Downie Street Burger and decided to go.We were not disappointed. I had the Avocado Bacon burger with a side order of the scapegoat pouting. The burger was spot on. Cooked to perfection with a good amount of avocado and bacon. The Dijon aioli went well with the burger. The bun was a perfect fit. Teresa had the Greek salad and a side of onion rings. It's a big salad yet very good. Fresh ingredients and a great dressing. The onion rings were excellent.A worthy establishment with a good selection of ales and wine. We'll be back
