Cliff House - STOWE

A delicious meal accompanied by a fantastic view and beautiful weather. A bit pricey but definitely worth having the experience at least once Vegetarian options: There were several well marked vegetarian options Dietary restrictions: There were many options that were marked as being safe for those with various dietary restrictions including gluten free and vegetarian

We rode the gondola to the top. We were informed at the bottom of the mountain that the restaurant was soon to close. Although we didn't eat in the restaurant, The view was still spectacular. We will return soon so we can indulge in a midday meal with this spectacular view.

I sadly wouldn't recommend this place. I started with the butternut squash soup, and it was very bland. Next, I ordered the cliffhouse burger, and it was ok. Beware they only cook the burgers well done, and that's a shame because it would've made the burger top notch. The food doesn't support the high cost. I would skip this place to eat. You only get a server for parties over 6.

Although I couldn’t see elsewhere but just being on the mountain was a wonderful experience for me. Planning to visit again for sure.The meal was delicious .

Fake fancy. Initially seated inside right next to the ordering counter, where the waitress stands 6 feet away from you with her back to you while you order, yelling to you about the options. You must give your card at time of ordering to ‘start a tab’. We requested to move outside and was graciously obliged by the host. You must get your own water. Food is delivered to you but you are never checked on. We received the wrong order but just decided to eat it and get out of there. Disappointing and expensive. They understand their market is mostly one time diners so the service/food doesn’t have to be great. Cooks wearing chef hats was cherry on top as the Mac and cheese was definitely microwaved. Sad because the gondola trip was great!
