Super annoyed that during slow hours (2-4) the manager did not see my online deliver order. Waited an hour and a half then canceled. However the person I spoke with (not from the location) helped me immediately and got me refunded. I will not use this location again.
We decided to grab a late lunch and head back to the office, so we went through the drive thru. We had an incredibly long wait for chicken sandwiches. We couldn't believe the $46 price tag for 2 sandwich meals and perogies! Got to office my salad wasn't even in the order! Given how long it took for our meal to be ready at the drive thru, surely there was more than enough time to double-check the order. This is a common refrain, and one wonders why restaurants don't double- and triple-check deliveries and take-out orders. Nothing is more infuriating than paying too much for a meal anyway, and then not even getting everything you ordered.
I used a $50 gift card for swiss chalet and total bill was $66.19. That means $66.19-50.00 =19.90 extra. Little did I realize that they charged me the full $66.19 on my credit card and pocketed my gift card. Because I didn't look at the receipt stupid me for trusting a big company like swiss chalet. Trust me, I will never buy dinner from them again and will tell all my friends about this. And I have alot of friends. It's totally disgusting behavior to do this to a customer. I only found out just now because I got my credit card statement. This was the only time went to swiss chalet in several months
Received a wrong order tonight. Was given the option of keeping the food with a $10 credit or pack up the food and return to the driver and they would send out what we ordered. Didn’t feel like waiting another 45min. So I opted to keep the food and the credit. Not sure if they would deliver this food somewhere else or if the the other person that got my order would. Didn’t want to risk getting food that was already in someone else’s house. Good customer service would have credited the whole amount. $10 bucks barely covers a kids meal. Not impressed. It this era of COVID, delivery is the best option. I guess I will be ordering from somewhere else.
