Contribute FeedbackThe Nine Iron Grill at the golf course has received mixed reviews. Some patrons have been disappointed with the decline in food quality, consistency, and service after management changes. On the other hand, others have praised the cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious food, and reasonable prices. The restaurant offers a variety of unique menu items and a beautiful environment for family meals, brunches, and date nights. While some had issues with slow service and inconsistent dishes, others highly recommend the Nine Iron Grill as a hidden gem worth a visit for its excellent food and service.
The food was amazing and the service was exceptional. The Mexican menu is top-notch. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
This used to be our favorite restaurant in the neighborhood until last year when they switched to new management and a different menu. Previously, the food was of high quality and delicious. However, the new food is mediocre, resembling what you would typically find at a sports arena. We are extremely disappointed and hope that they revert back to their previous food quality and menu. Unfortunately, we will not be dining there again.
We had a group dinner with some friends who all have summer homes in the Wab area. The tables were spread out for social distancing, but we made the best of it. There were around a dozen of us that night, sitting at four separate tables around the room. The food was decent, nothing too unique, just standard golf course fare. However, everyone seemed satisfied with their meals. The service was a bit lacking that night, not sure if the staff was off, overwhelmed, or new. We weren't informed about specials, drinks took a long time to arrive, and the food came out at different times for each person at the tables. Despite the issues, we would be willing to give it another try. The pricing is average for this type of place and I imagine the service has improved since our visit. I would recommend it to others if they are in the area.
We’ve been going there for years and we Love it! Super friendly staff, fantastic food and reasonably priced! Atmosphere is so cozy....sort of like a neighbourhood pub, with a big fireplace and lots of natural light. They have a lot of items on the menu, that either you won’t find anywhere else, or they’ve added their own personal twist.
We went to this restaurant for a birthday dinner. We were sat at a table outside overlooking the golf course. It was a very nice view. Saturday special is prime rib which all 5 of us had. The meal was okay...nothing special. We were told we could have rare prime rib but it came medium. The staff were exceptional. I asked if they could cut a slab off a raw prime rib and just sear it for myself and 1 other. They did their best to accommodate us and we were able to have our beef rare. The rest of the meal was okay. The wine was very expensive. I have to stress how great our waitress was. We had a few issues with different things and she was amazing with regards to making us happy. I won't go back because of the price and mediocre food, but the view and service are outstanding.
