I go for breakfast every week. I’m a regular you could say. Reminds me of Howard Johnson’s from the past. Guaranteed good breakfast, timely service and good value. Nice senior menu. Veggie Omelette is my favorite with hot grits and biscuits. Can’t go wrong here! View all feedback.
What Travis B doesn't like about Jim's:
Food was ok but time to get food was long like they left our other food on the counter waiting on our other stuff And they just let flies get on it. It was cold. View all feedback.
What a difference 3 miles makes! Visited here and waited 15 minutes and was never served. We were greeted at the door, told to sit anywhere and waited.... And waited... The store was not busy and there was plenty of kitchen staff. We drove 3 miles down to another Jim's and was greeted by nearly everyone there. Barely sat down before the server was smiling and taking our drink orders.
Always excellent service my Patti and the kitchen staff. The restaurant itself needs updating and smells like mold.
This is a great place to get a good hearty breakfast.
I wish I could provide a great review but unfortunately my sister and I did not receive service after sitting for about 20 minutes. We watched 3-4 parties sit themselves and waiters came to serve them immediately. There was a dirty booth behind us and a waiter walked by us, cleaned the booth, and personally sat another customer. We received 0 greetings as we walked in and 0 when we left. Just nothing! I don’t want to play the race card here however…we were the only black customers in the entire restaurant…and it was Juneteenth We aren’t from Texas but EVERYONE knows how yall get down here with racism and politics. We were out of towners and our hotel was close enough to make a quick stop for breakfast before heading to the airport. This place seems like it’s been here for awhile and they clearly have seen multiple culture shifts throughout their years. However, I don’t think they plan to change ANYTHING (restaurant or mindset wise). My sister and I didn’t take treatment seriously tbh. We laughed and teased the restaurant by calling it “Jim Crow” because that’s exactly how it felt. Please teach your staff about respect no matter who they are serving. We definitely won’t be back but let’s be honest…you all wouldn’t care either way. Good luck with your establishment.
The place always looks feels dirty,, The bathrooms always smell,, The Employees here rather joke around with each other than tend to their customers,, There is no attention to detail at all ??? They also don't filter their frying oil at all,, Or Change it out with new oil ??? ....
