Liberty Bell - Stoneham

Mixed bag here. Starting with what didn't work for me.The lobster, pricy for what you get, was essentially a small scoop of lobster salad on shredded lettuce on a lobster roll. Lettuce was overpowering the lobster. : : Clam chowder was missing clams. : On to the good stuff. Fried clams and scallops were really good. Decent portions too.Staff was friendly.

Liberty Bell in Stoneham is a nice place to get a variety of healthy, and not so healthy,, but tasty quality foods. They usually have 4 kinds of soups to choose from. Unfortunately, they only have hot coffee, not hot tea. The counter help is helpful.. No suga-free desserts.

Melted plastic on food. Despite ordering my meal, I got my food in some sticky to go plastic containers. when I had my sweet steak and tumbler rings, I noticed that the plastic container had a few holes in it. it turns out that these holes are caused by the hot fat that melts the plastic/styrene foam container with the food in it. that means that I spent 30 minutes eating with traces of molten plastic. I asked the management about it, and they said oh yes, that happens all the time. Given the prices I paid (22$ for surfing) this is very substandard. I am very disappointed that I came here

This place is our go to spot for take out! We love the chicken fingers plate. We've tried the hot subs and they taste amazing too.

The best seafood in Stoneham, by a long shot! Many places nowadays settle for farm-raised shrimp, but at Freedom Bell, you can truly experience the ocean. The mussels are absolutely fantastic, and while the scallops may not be huge, they are wonderfully prepared. They come with these magical sauces that pair perfectly with them. Treat yourself and order seafood here; your taste buds will thank you!
