Bistro Bestick - Stockholm Sverige

Bistro Bestick is a gem. Great location away from the busy streets but still central. Do note that the place is smaller than one might expect. Great service and always amazing kitchen.

Lovely little bistro in the centre of town. The simple cosy, environment belies the excellence of the food. We eat out a lot all over the world and this was some of the best food we've tasted. The staff were delightful too.

Hair came out of my food twice, I didn't want to mention it at first but when it came out for the second time, I talked to the waitress, she said she would be asking the kitchen staff. When she came back from the kitchen, she said there was no one with the dark hair in the kitchen and it could be mine! I can tall that it is an overrated restaurant, there are better ones in Stockholm.

We had dinner here after our hotel recommended for Swedish meatballs, and everything we ordered was amazing. We shared starters, and I tried the meatballs. They were beautiful, so tasty. We found the bill reasonable, and the staff were all so friendly. The setting is lovely and cosy too. Would definitely return and recommend, a must try in Stockholm!

This was our first visit to the restaurant, and it was perfect. The 3-course new year menu was absolutely outstanding. Especially the starter (salmon and lobster) was Michelin Star quality, but also the main course (flank steak with pumpkin variations) and desert (crème brulée) were fantastic. All this for a very fair price (approx. 95 Euros), with good service and a nicely selected, again fairly priced wine package. Highly recommended!
