What an unassuming place. I took a risk, and it paid off well. Here is what I ordered. Pork fried rice, chicken egg fu young (best i ever had), spicy (medium) Kung pow chicken, orange mandarin chicken. I didn't realize each one is a portion for about 4 people, literally. We had not eaten Chucks for a long time so decided to get takeout for a family style lunch. We ordered two items from the entree menu and plain rice with two individual servings of Egg Drop Soup. The entees were enormous but lacked any Chinese food flavor we were familiar with or expected. The vegetables were cut in larger chunks than were desirable. I should state that the reason I gave it a 4 star is because you can only do carry out. For some reason, the dining area is closed. But you can go in and order.
Most of the sauces and the egg drop soup have the consistency of hot jello. The rice is usually slightly under cooked. It's mediocre at best.
Good food! I absolutely love their hot and sour soup! So chunky!
Best Chinese place in town. Chuck once told my mom to fire Dad since he forgot to order curry for her.
Nicest people ever!! You feel loved when you go here. Wonton soup yummy. Some things I like, some I don't, but, it's fun to keep trying the different dishes.
