We have visited this restaurant a few times in the past. It is a great spot for tourists to experience traditional Scottish cuisine and purchase Scottish gifts. The tea room is beautifully decorated. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Trossachs Woollen Mill:
This restaurant is a good stop, but I was frustrated when I brought my reusable cup and my coffee was made in a disposable cup before being poured into mine. It defeats the purpose of using a reusable cup. However, it is important for us to do our part for the environment, one cup at a time. The barista seemed a bit grumpy, and my regular coffee was too milky. It seemed like I had more milk than I should have in my r... View all feedback.
Fortunately, I would read online before the hand that the most important sights (hamic and co were gone until the early year, but it is a shame, as they are really nice to meet and we have lucky enough to meet them several times before. the business and the caffe is...big for a stopover during the tour and the herr (with a woman from Spanish who served us was great. he was very friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and even had a good feeling of humor! I'm never gonna ask again what men have swung among their!
I'm not a shopper but this stop has a large store and food bar, but the best fun was feeding the harry coos. I thought there were going to be more hairy cows to see in Scottland but in two bus trips through the highlands,...these are the only two I saw so worth a stop to meet Honey and Hammish and give them a scratch! Get there early (or maybe later) because we were the 1st bus there when they were openning and a number of bus tours were in the parking lot before we left.
We stopped as saw the Highland cows and have an obsessions with them. We were on our honeymoon and I wanted to see some up close. This place does not disappoint as you can buy food from the shop and feed them too. Best day...ever! The shop is beautiful and definetly worth a stop over! AMAZING!
I am travelling with some friends through scotland and stumbled across this lovely caf, after we bought our food, which was superb by the way especially recomend the soup and the toasted sandwiches. They wished us wel on our travels and recomended places to stay.. cheap places as we are students travelling) and places to visit. A lovely warm and homey cafe.
We didn’t get chance to visit the shop or cafe so I can’t comment on those, but I just wanted to say that it is so lovely that passers-by have the opportunity to just stop by and meet a couple of adorable heiland coos for...free. As an animal lover I’ve been wanting to see these beautiful creatures up close for a long time and we stopped by twice during our holiday to say hello. They are clearly very cherished and well-cared for, and seemed so calm and happy around visitors. You can purchase a little bag of food from the shop for Hamish and Honey too if you would like to feed them yourself. A magical encounter, perfect for animal lovers of any age.
