That was a wonderful surprise for me! It's been here for six years... I often visit Stillwater enough, but I never knew about it until today. Super friendly and helpful staff. Delicious coffee and fair prices Food (sister and I had breakfast . What Lorraine N doesn't like about Tin Bins:
eh expensive for what it is. Food nothing to write home about, coffee just okay, service nothing spectacular. They do have a full bar which was surprising however just seems overrun with the younger crowd. It's much like a local caribou and I don't normally want to just hang out there either. This coffee shop is another tribute to Stillwater's historical architecture, which is made in something beautiful and modern. We love this coffee shop, he has a lot of character. If you feel inviting in it, large windows over the St Croix River, pleasant fireplace and a fantastic menu. The fruits and vegetables are organic and their meat is local and free from nitrate. I had the homemade granola with coconut milk. Delish!
It is a beautiful, local space with fireplace, view of the river St. Croix, a terrace and occasional live music. The food is good, but I don't love the coffee: The espresso tends to the sharply bitter side instead of deep and earthy. But I still like it here very well.
This café has a really relaxing feeling. There is a deck with parasols for warmer weather. On cool days you can have your coffee next to the fireplace. It's a great meeting place for you and friends. It is also a good place to learn. They have free Wi-Fi. Get the password through the register. I'm never disappointed with the drinks I got from here. Your pastries are also really good.
Family freindly establishment. Kids loved the french soda. Limited menu and but nothing to write home about. Limited adult beverage selection but went well with their Cubano sandwich. nice deck with views of the St Croix River. The interior has a cool old grain elevator look and feel. I give 3 and 3/4 stars rounded up to 4. Too many other places in Stillwater to try before I go back.
This is a great spot to meet up with a friend for coffee and a treat or a quick, but delicious bite to eat. Best Carrot Cake in town, honestly you can't go wrong with ANY of their baked goods. Atmosphere is fantastic, really neat place to go and relax.
