View all feedback.
What Mac L doesn't like about Cantine Sainte-Flavie:
We tried the lobster roll, which was alright but not outstanding. The poutine with local shrimp was also just okay. Although there were plenty of shrimp and they were tasty, the poutine was average. My wife didn't enjoy either dish and perhaps should have opted for the club sandwich. Unfortunately, her hot dog was inedible and her hamburger was barely edible. I am puzzled by the high ratings on TripAdvisor. View all feedback.

Another Moutarde Chou stop of legend, Cantine Ste-Flavie was our favourite casse-croûte in the Gaspésie peninsula. Don't miss the lobster roll, hands down the best we had all around. Could use more butter to make it decadent but at least they are not skimpy on the lobster.
Great lobster rolls and assorted quick food. Perhaps “quick is misleading. You may have to line up for up to 30 minutes. But it’s a tradition ... one worth experiencing. Enjoy your meal. There are picnic tables available, even during covid.
There were many locals at the restaurant. We ordered the "junk food" and shrimp poutine, which were just as I expected! My daughter had the chicken salad and my son had a traditional club, and they were both happy and satisfied with their meals.
I have been coming to this restaurant since I was a child, and nothing has changed. The food is still as great as ever. The prices are a bit high for a cafeteria, but if you order the shrimp poutine, be prepared for a huge portion of shrimp.
