Traveled all the way here from the Bronx to get Dairy Queen. No indoor dining yet. There was a bit of a wait time which to me was great, means my food is being freshly prepared. The burgers weren’t too bad. Tasted like a normal fast food burger. Their fries were normal and onion rings were good. You can taste the onion. The blizzards were disappointing. It melted sooo fast and the whole time I felt like I was just dr... View all feedback.
What Cathrine Gleichner doesn't like about Dairy Queen Grill Chill:
I order a 6 piece chicken basket extra fries. First off they give me burger buns rather than toast then they gave me 5 tenders and no extra fries come on dude i paid extra View all feedback.
The personal cared very well and they were easy to work. the quality was good and I get more to eat the staten island ferryhawks stage. at least they accept cash or debit card and this is a good customer service.

This is an astonishingly bad DQ location. Other than getting melted, refrozen, inedible Buster Bars and things like that, my last order (placed through UberEats, who refunded it entirely) was 100% wrong! Every single one of five items was wrong. My burger was missing tomato (and I love tomato: that's the whole point). My girlfriend's chicken sandwich was missing the onions she paid extra for.The onion rings my girlfriend was looking forward to had no onion rings! They served fries instead. The Heath Blizzard add Oreo I was looking forward to had no... er, Heath (nor the fudge the Heath Blizzard should have come with). It just had Oreo, nothing else. How does a Heath Blizzard with no Heath even work??The Royal New York Cheesecake Blizzard my girlfriend asked to be made without strawberries had, of course, strawberries mixed in it. But they did leave out the chocolate brownie pieces she paid extra for, so there's that. DQ at Staten Island Ferry CAN leave out items... when they arbitrarily choose to.Just abysmal.I mean the crispy chicken sandwich was soggy, so I could also complain about that, but my question is HOW do you get FIVE OUT OF FIVE items wrong? How is that even possible?DQ on Forest Avenue is infinitely better, if you're craving some Hot Eats, Cool Treats on Staten Island.
As of the time of this writing, the Staten Island DQ location has 2.5 stars. I have no idea how they ever got that many. I certainly didn't give them to them! Last time I ordered here, through an app, I got a Heath Blizzard with no Heath in it, a NY Cheesecake Blizzard that I asked to be made with brownie pieces and no strawberry that was instead made with strawberry and no brownie pieces. I also got onion rings with no onion rings! (As in they served fries instead. The burger and crispy chicken sandwich were also made wrong (no tomato and onions respectively, and I paid EXTRA for the onions . Ugh. How can you get five out of five items wrong? That's like a 100% error rate! The time before my last order, I got melted, refrozen Buster Bars that were inedible. SURE, the apps in question gave me refunds, but why do I have to spend my time trying to get refunds instead of eating good food? Oh. Right. I ordered from the Staten Island Ferry location. My mistake! I used to live nearer the DQ on Forest Avenue. That was so much better. Go there if you have the choice.
Slow service. Had to leave without my order to get to the ferry.
