Food was excellent and so was the service. All our food was amazing, my ribeye had fantastic taste and was perfectly cooked. A big Irish pub! We had a great experience tonight (but the rude customers who were asked to leave for all the noisy preferences for our children) large family restaurant that I highly recommend. The Irish nachos were decent, but I would not recommend anything else. We tried the stew (way too salty), clam chowder (more like porridge), Irish sausage (mustard is overpowering), steak salad (steak is gamey), fish and chips (fish was dry but ships were excellent), and finger steaks. Especially the food... oh the food! I have the Guinness meat leaf and it was amazing. So good, the Guinness Gravy! Ahh and the meat dew were so tender and over the big potatoes. Hubby got Halibut and chip and it was also amazing. The unintentional entertainment was however the highlight. A couple came, had beer, a Clam appetizer and a full meal on it. After they had consumed everything, they wanted the nerve to complain about the size of the shells, and had decided that they were paid for nothing. They tried "the "the " that I suspect is an owner. The management tried to deal with this pair, but when they began to become more belly, they were effective 86 'd from there. It was really funny the ridiculousness of everything. If you are unhappy with an appetizer, why continue to eat and drink, just to finish it. They got food free there, but only because they made absolute idiots of themselves. In a small town like star, it's pretty stupid to make a scene at one of the 3 places in town serving alcohol. Anyway, our server (I think Melissa) was absolutely wonderful. She kept our drinks filled, made us very welcome, like old friends. She caught wind it was my men's birthday and brought us desert, although we said it was not necessary. Will definitely present bag, fun crowd, also with some party pools.

It was our first visit and the food and beers were perfect on a sunny spring day in Star! Finger steaks and garlic fries are a must. Thanks for a delicious lunch; we’ll be back. Sláinte!

Great folks and the food is dandy......fresh fried calamari....one of my faves. You won't be disappointed.

The food here is consistently delicious!! Really big owners and staff. I always try to come here for a meal when I'm in town and get to everyone in the area.
