Pop’s Country Skillet - Stanley

Me and my day go at least once a week. Love the staff very friendly the make you feel at home!

Let me start by saying I hardly ever post reviews but this one is well need. I eat from this restaurant very often bc I live near by and I work from home, so it's usually a great place for breakfast or lunch. Today I decided to order something different. I'm so confused by the onion filled salmon pancakes in my box. That do not taste like a salmon patty I've ever had. Definitely my fault for not asking if they put onions in it. The mashed potatoes and gravy didn't not look or taste fresh. However the fresh potato wedges and cold dr pepper were the best things ordered. Not sure what has changed but I definitely don't like it. This place used to be really good.

Today was my first visit to Pops. It wasn't an ordinary visit because out of incredible compassion, they invited my family into their restaurant for a bereavement dinner for the loss of my granddaughter.Their food was outstanding, the servers caring and attentive. Everything was spot on.I hope to go back again. Please chose Pops for a meal!

Love this little place! We've been eating here for a number of years now! Great service and food! The people are really friendly and happy. Usually pretty busy for breakfast, but I think it's worth it!
