I stopped by for scones and tea. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean. The garden center is preparing for Christmas with a variety of high-quality plants available at reasonable prices. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Wolseley Bridge Garden Centre:
I’ve been to this cafe in the garden centre for years. Sometimes it’s great and sometimes it’s terrible. Breakfast today: tepid and greasy food. Waitress looked guilty bringing it to the table; she knew it looked poor. Carvery, a month ago: tepid gunge that was badly slopped onto plate. (Lots of it though… if you want a heap of gunge, they are not stingey with the sides. Tea/ dinner 6 weeks ago: chicken burger and fr... View all feedback.

Visited for bank holiday breakfast, this was our first time trying the garden centre restaurant but had heard quite good things previously. Friendly staff, nice looking display of cakes, not busy for a bank holiday, maybe 6 tables occupied. Ordered two fried breakfasts and it took exactly 45 minutes to arrive!!! The fried eggs were terribly over cooked, the yolks were solid. The side plate of toast had obviously been sitting on a hot plate as the butter sachets were liquid. Complained to the young staff but no one seemed that bothered either about the wait or the overcooked food. Really disappointed
Had afternoon tea which was really good. A variety of sandwiches, scones with clotted cream, jam and butter, indivual trifles and a variety of small cakes all of which were delicious.
Attended 16th and 17th of august. We are buying plants for the new conservatory and thought to pop in for a coffee and bite to eat.The garden centre is so well stalked with fabulous items, took us a whole day and half to decide what to buy. One of the best selections by far on house plants. Sadly on both occasions in the cafe i had to wait in a cue while 6 members of staff were chatting over the coffee machine about their children, tables were filthy! One member of staff who served me (blonde) smelled of strong “ cigarettes” she was very agitated when taking my order. She wasn't very friendly at all, very unapologetic when some items weren’t available and spoke to me through her teeth when I asked questions. This cafe would be great if the staff worked at the same level of quality
