We have a home on St. Thomas and... read more We have stayed at many Ritz-Carltons over the years and are Platinum Marriott members. This Ritz is not up to par with others. We have a home on St. Thomas and were there for the holidays. I made reservations on the St. Thomas/Ritz-Carlton website for lunch on Christmas day. When we arrived, we were treated like we were UNWANTED because we were not staying at the resort. Our waitress was nice, but made the comment "our reservation really shouldn't be allowed be we were not staying at the resort" because the resort was full. The food and drinks were just okay, but not up par with other Ritz-Carltons. I would not recommend this restaurant or resort

It did come with a small, but delicious serving of black beans and rice. I ended up ordering an extra side of beans and rice to avoid leaving hungry. I also found it surprising that plain water was $10.00 and a cocktail was $18.00. Overall, it wasn't the best choice, but the staff were very friendly and pleasant.

The hotel must cater to families because there were little kids running around everywhere.
