Chili Diner - St Roch

Had a couple of great breakfasts here on a recent trip to Rochester! The salmon patties were great and not something easy to find where we 're from. All the food we had was very good, but what we especially enjoyed was the clientele and the servers — it was clearly a neighborhood hangout with lots of regulars; folks were waving at each other across the diner and greeting other patrons as they came in, so it had a one big happy family vibe, and at the same time my partner and I felt warmly welcomed by the waitstaff and the other customers. Definitely worth a visit if you 're nearby!

Update 08/30/23: I have not seen the rude waitress there since my recent few visits. They only server breakfast and lunch only. They close at 2:30 pm. Cash Only. However, there is an ATM next door at the store. The food is good and the service is fast. It is not a large place, but it is cozy and friendly. Kid-friendliness: They have a kid selection on the menu. My kids love the place. They made pancakes with ears. Parking: There is plenty of street parking on both sides and parking directly in front of the restaurant. A very small parking lot in the back of the restaurant. Wheelchair accessibility: Everything is on one level

Eggs and crispy bacon perfect. Toast toasty. Omelette filling.

The atmosphere is typical of a little diner. Tables are pretty tiny but there are plenty of them. Service was wonderful. Super sweet ladies that were on point with filling your coffee cup when it dips a little. Meat lovers omelette I had was great and the side bacon was tasty and crispy. The corned beef hash was also amazing! Parking: Park out in front. Not too many spaces but there is additional street parking if necessary.

Chili diner is quick and easy to get good breakfast.
