Incredible! The food is absolutely delicious, and the service is fantastic. The lobster ravioli is outstanding! Make sure to order the garlic cheese bread—it's a must-try. The salmon pasta is a generous portion, featuring the tastiest capers. The chicken Parmesan sandwich is big enough to share and comes with a hefty side of fries or shredded Brussels sprouts. What Manley Rath doesn't like about Anthonino's Taverna:
I wouldn't recommend going back. I was very disappointed with the waitress and the service. We felt rushed, and the server nearly slammed our plates onto the table. View all feedback.
Very good place to eat on the hill in St. Louis. Authentic Italian food with other options A huge menu. gyro’s, pasta’s cheeseburgers and pizza! Yumm. great flavors. Definitely a must try a pizza is amazing!
I wanted to give this place a 5 star because of the food, however, didn’t because the place stinks. The food was absolutely terrific. The Italian place has all its Italian delicacies and goodness. It has all the elements of an upscale diner, with a pocket friendly menu. We started with some complementary breads and olive oil. The olive oil was really good. We ordered the famous toasted ravioli. This is something a speciality of the place, you won’t find this elsewhere. This niche Italian neighborhood has invented this delicacy and this restaurant serves the best one. We ate the Sicilian pizza after that. It’s huge in size. Both of us couldn’t manage. The pizza was absolutely the best with an excellent quality mozzarella, and the super fine grade meat. Having said this all good things, I must say, that the place has a stinky smell. The smell comes from processing cheese and lamb and what not! The restroom was smelling better than the dining hall. Otherwise everything was good including the very friendly Server.
This place has very delicious Italian dishes. The location has street parking with lots of availability nearby. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are more than enough for a person. The food was touted as some of the 'best Italian food ' they 've had amongst my party. I don 't think they 're wrong. If you 're in town, go check them out and see for yourself.
Great place. Usually good service, everything I've tried there has been good. Good pastas, pizzas, and even burgers. Always get the garlic cheese bread as an appetizer. It's great. Plenty of cheese, well toasted, served with red sauce. Not sure anyone does it better.
Italian sausage was unpleasantly pungent, very little sauce, didn't like the flavor, the pizza is overrated, the lady who waited on me was very nice and helpful.
