The vegetable pasty is described as massive and filling, packed with a variety of vegetables. The staff are knowledgeable about vegan options, including scones and flapjacks. Despite the lack of traditional golden crust on the vegan pasty, customers rave about the taste and value for money. Overall, Pengenna Pasties is praised for offering a delicious vegan option in a picturesque seaside location, making it a must-visit spot for those looking for a satisfying and affordable meal in St Ives.
Love that they have so many vegan options. there were at least three hearty and three sweet things. the scones were so good.
Although it is not especially beautiful, it is the worst cornish pasty that I had (I had only really beautiful.) in the round only a large pasty filled with bland veg. £4.50 the staff was nice, but unfortunately we didn't even eat the half of it.
Not sure why the reviews are so good! yes, the pasty was massif. but it was just plucked veg inside without gravy, sose or spice! it was very, very blandich would put one of the other one away if I went back to stives
Had a delicious vegan pasty that was hot from the many, and then some delicious vegan scene.
I taste tested several vegan pasties in St Ives and this was my favourite – packed with lots of potato, carrot, sweetcorn, peas and broad beans. I also sampled the scones and eccles cakes, both were good, and they had other sweet options as well.
