The line can be long and service can be iffy at times depending on how busy they are.Parking: Bars and other stores next to it, if you go during slow times you can usually find a spot easily but during dinner rush or later with the bar close by parking can be difficult.Kid-friendliness: I see kids here all the time, and we bring our kids there, too. We walked in and sat down the guy who brought the chips and salsa was looking at us rude then we ordered horchata and it tasted like they got milky toilet water and put it in a glass we got up and we’re going to pay for the drinks and go but the cashier lady was rude and tried not to give us a receipt we had to ask and she still hesitated. Usually the service is excellent. Tonight it was not.First of all a gentleman in a red shirt with a bad upper right tooth came to take our drink orders. He disappeared and never came back.Another fella came over and took our orders. My sister ordered a spinach quesadilla but they brought her a spinach enchilada. The waiter then came over to the table and proceeded to tell us that she ordered a spinach enchilada. She did not. She ordered a spinach quesadilla.Even if she would have ordered incorrectly he should have absorbed the blame if he was a good waiter. But it doesn't matter because she didn't order incorrectly. She ordered a spinach quesadilla.He got all huffy from that point on. The service was terrible but the food was very good.Needless to say, we did not leave a tip and that ticked off the cashier. She was very rude to us after that as well.We will not be going back there even though we've been patronizing that place for 10 years.
My family loves La Carreta! No matter if we dine in or order our food to go, it's delicious each time!

Drinks are cold, chips are warm, prices are good. Like $9 for a lunch combo? Hard to beat. Real good queso too
We have eaten here many times before, but this time the food was terrible. The rice tasted like chemicals, spoiled. The chicken chimi also tasted terrible like something was bad. The see I e was extremely slow. When we commented on the rice, our waitress said “ Its fine we have had no complaints all morning .” We told her to smell it is bad!!! She smelled it and said si don’t smell anything. There were 4 of us in our party we could all smell it. The food was terrible. My son in law and daughter had to them her to take it off of their bill their food was inedible.
