While the outdoor seating fosters a lively atmosphere, some patrons have voiced concerns over pricing, particularly regarding tea and breakfasts, suggesting adjustments for better value. Despite mixed experiences with service, including complaints about staff demeanor and missed details like napkins, many appreciate the café's solid food quality and the overall biking-friendly environment. With flexible bike rentals available, it remains a favored choice for those exploring the trails.
I was there first. the sandwich I ordered was delicious! They have a great selection of food, beer, wee, so more. I loved the welcoming atmosphere, decorate nice workers. clean room, indoor outdoor seats and a firefighter house. I will definitely return. I also want to rent their 4 person bike (if it is warmer) looks like fun. I recommend this cool place. I also think that my bike is parked there.
Recently I had a 4-day visit in st. charles with my sisters. the bike stop cafe is a jewel! that eating is so good. Honestly, we ate there every day! highly recommended. Do not forget to enjoy a little cry during the happy hour.
Delicious food and drinks. I really appreciate that the many vegetarian options are just a regular part of the menu. there is a large outdoor terrace with sun umbrellas. the clean-clutter aesthetic is really sweet and suitable. the extra rainy day may have made them less of a quantity. there was only one other customer within and throughout our visit. our flavored coffees came out quickly. we have 2/3 of our food products very fast, but had to wait a bit for the last plate. I will tell people about this little stop and go back soon.
Great outdoor seats with fire pits for the winter afternoons! enjoy their favorite soft drinks with views of the park frontier.
This is one of our favorite places to grab lunch in St Charles. The sandwiches are SO delicious and the atmosphere is awesome. We have dined inside and outside and taken our food to go and have been highly satisfied every single time. My son who is a picky eater has even found a favorite sandwich here, The Abbey and it's my favorite too! Yum!!! Also check out the miniature bistro fairy door as part of the Miniature Portals of St Charles!
