Where are you going to be entertained by alpacas grazing on the lawn spreading out into the beautiful gardens? The menu has stood the test of time, but with a new kitchen and expanded seating, word has it that some innovation may be in the works. Delicious and with very pleasant waitstaff. View all feedback.

Slow service with little attention to detail. Wish they would get more table umbrellas for the patio, especially considering the hot sunny summer well underway. We asked, but none were available. So, only 2 patio tables had umbrellas. Seemed odd, since there was lots of room for more umbrellas. Food was very good and venue is lovely, very scenic and peaceful. Perhaps the staff need more training. If you are looking forward to eating on the patio, which is great, call ahead and reserve a table in the shade because most patio tables are not shaded.

The location, views and food were all excellent. Two of us had lunch. Seafood chowder. Hot chocolate with pumpkin whipped cream. Yum.
We enjoyed our meal at the Garden Café after spending the morning walking through the garden. The Chef made my husband some homemade gluten free noodles with pesto. It was fragrant and delicious. There were other GF choices as well. I had the ham and brie sandwich and nicely chilled salad. We had some cheese cake that was amazing. the staff was very professional and efficient. The only recommendation would be that something go with the pesto and noodles. It needs a punch of colour to go with the green look. Perhaps a few grilled or roasted red peppers. I am a professional cook so I like to see colour! Since it was Gluten free it would have been great to see a homemade garlic bun or something of that nature to go along with the meal.Anyway that is not major but it will enhance the dish and there wasn't anything else I would change. The alpaca's could be seen grazing on the lawn as we sat and ate our late lunch. I say late because we were eating at 2:30pm. a lovely home to eat in.
Five of us headed for this spot for a lovely lunch and were turned away as there was to be a wedding going on later in the day and the kitchen could not accommodate us at 1:00. The ladies in the front were gracious but the folks at the restaurant were abrupt and told us we would not be served.
